In January 2016, I finally sat down and started principal writing on my debut novel. The working title was Shadows and Dust, but eventually I settled on The Dark Truth. Once the book comes out, you’ll know why the title choice was obvious.
The Dark Truth is a deliciously dark, bloody vampire tale set in modern day San Francisco. It has always been a dream of mine to write a book. I always knew my first novel would be a vampire story and I always knew I’d have a female lead character. What I didn’t know was if I could actually complete a novel. I also didn’t know if I could get it published.
Once the first draft was finished, I sent it to Trifecta Publishing House, my first choice. Within a week, Trifecta picked it up and agreed to publish it. And now, The Dark Truth is set for release in November 20 after initially set to drop in February. Pre-sale kicks off October 25, just in time for Halloween. The Dark Truth will be a available in trade paperback and e-book.
Stay tuned for even more news soon.
