The First Trailer for The Dark Passage Series

I have discovered the ease and joy of iMovie. Over the years I have become a decent videographer and editor but I was at a loss when it came to piecing together a trailer for my first two novels. Well, fret no more. Thanks to some help from my son the aspiring film maker, here is the first trailer for the first two books in The Dark Passage SeriesThe Dark Truth and The Dark Descent.

Hit the Where to Buy page to find out how to order your copies.

I’ll be back at the Modesto Barnes & Noble on Saturday, June 2 at Noon.

The book tour in support of my second novel, The Dark Descent, is really starting to heat up. I currently have four events confirmed, with another big announcement for a fifth coming very soon. My weekends this spring and summer are going to be very busy.

This Saturday, I’ll be at the Bay Street Barnes & Noble location in Emeryville along with fellow authors K.M. Riley and Mike Esola. Riley, a published author,  is a Trifecta Publishing House labelmate and was recent guest on my podcast. Esola has written several novels. We’ll be taking part in a panel discussion on fiction writing, publishing and the creative process. The event starts at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, May 12, I’ll be at the Folsom, Calif., Barnes & Noble location. I’ve never been to this store and I have only driven through Folsom so this will be a new experience for me. That event starts at 2:00 p.m. also.

The next two just locked in and they are return engagements with Barnes & Noble stores where I had two of my first signings. I really do appreciate their support.

On Saturday, May 26, I’ll be back at the Arden Fair Barnes & Noble in Sacramento, the site of my first-ever book signing event. That event begins at 11:00 a.m.

And, on Saturday, June 2, the Modesto Barnes & Noble beckons once more. That signing starts at Noon.

The Dark Descent is the sequel to my debut novel, The Dark Truth, which dropped last November. I am in work on the third in The Dark Passage Series, The Dark Terror. Head over to the Books page to learn more about the title.

Check out the Upcoming Events page for more details and visit the Where to Buy page to find out how to order copies of my books.

In this dark, twisted tale from Trifecta Publishing House of Port Angeles, Wash., ex-San Francisco public relations professional turned vampire Elizabeth Rubis may have escaped her rocky prison in an abandoned coal mine, but trouble keeps following her bloody trail as a new enemy has emerged – an actual church-trained vampire hunter. As Elizabeth discovers new supernatural powers along the way, she continues to evolve into a true demon of the night.

First Leg of Book Tour in the Books

29356775_1709925145720503_1132610269256613888_nAfter an enjoyable signing event at the Gilroy, Calif., Barnes & Noble location, The Dark Truth book tour has drawn to a close. However, The Dark Descent releases four weeks from tomorrow on Monday, April 23. I’ll post pre-sale information as soon as it becomes available.

I did four signing events, three radio interviews and one in-studio TV appearance. Event calendar announcements for two of the signings appeared in local newspapers and accompanying web sites. Thank you to all of the media professionals who accommodated me.

I’d like to thank friends and co-workers who came to out to support me, and of course, the people I met at these events – those who purchased on the spot, ordered later, or just stopped by to chat. I have met a lot of great people so far, and I am looking forward to meeting more book lovers.

Details have yet to be finalized, but I have several more events in the works. I’ll be returning to a couple of locations and adding a few new ones for The Dark Descent book tour. I was interviewed for the Write About Now podcast recently. I’ll let you know when the episode is available for your listening pleasure. I am also scheduled for an appearance on Write Now with Sarah Werner in July.

Work on The Dark Terror continues. I don’t know where it’s going to go or how it ends, but it’s been a wild ride to write the first 12,000 words. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to get and read The Dark Truth, and get ready for The Dark Descent. April 23 will be here before you know it. And you don’t want Elizabeth knocking on your window in the middle of the night.

If you have read the book, please drop a review on the web site for the store where you made the purchase. Any and all feedback is welcome and encouraged.

Thank you all for your support.

– Jerry

I had a great time at the Modesto Barnes & Noble last weekend. Some great folks stopped by to chat and learn more about me and The Dark Truth. Friends and coworkers came out to show their support as well.

My next event is scheduled for Saturday, March 17 from 2 – 4 p.m. PT at the Gilroy Barnes & Noble. Vampires in the Garlic Capital, oh my. If you are in Northern California, I hope you come out, pick up a copy of the book and get it signed.

Thank you to everyone who has come out to the three events so far. I hope you enjoy the book. The sequel is due out in April.

21761387_1532492320130454_2955689489606566777_nThe book tour is starting to heat up. After three radio interviews, a TV appearance, and a signing at Barnes & Noble Arden Fair in Sacramento, I’ll be at Mockingbird Books in Tracy, Calif., Friday night from 7 – 9 p.m. There will be refreshments.

Geronimo at Mockingbird was the first person to schedule yours truly for a signing. I finally got to meet Mark the last time I stopped in. It’s a great local store with an eclectic selection. It’s the epitome of a small town bookstore – new, used, high-end collector’s editions, kids books, graphic novels and more. The only thing the store is missing is a resident cat.

I’m looking forward to seeing my friends, coworkers and neighbors, in addition to meeting some great new people at this event.

Come on out, get a copy of The Dark Truth, and get it signed. Already have yours? Bring it and I’ll sign it for you.
